  • Payment data: we do not store full card details. Payments are processed by Dojo (Paymentsense Limited) and Wix Payments. We may receive a transaction reference and the last four digits of your card.

  • Marketing preferences

  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, pages visited (via cookies)

  • Any content of messages you send us

  • From our booking systems (SevenRooms, Hanna), online ordering (Wix), review platforms (Google, Tripadvisor) and social media (Instagram, Facebook)

We share personal data only with trusted providers who help us run Hotori:

  • Paymentsense Limited (trading as Dojo) — card payments

  • SevenRooms — reservations

  • Hanna — our AI booking assistant

  • Our accountants and professional advisors

We never sell your personal information.

Some providers may process your data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards under UK GDPR (including UK International Data Transfer Agreements or adequacy regulations).

  • Allergy information: only for the visit/order, unless you have an account

  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe

  • Enquiry emails: up to 2 years

  • Accounting records: 6 years (legal requirement)

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent.
